ATTENTION MEATBALLERS!
It's that time of year again for Lincoln's most prestigious competition! The 3rd(?) annual Meatball Contest will be held on February 7th during the Lincoln Preschool Spaghetti Dinner at Burnham Hall. Do you have what it takes to topple Maureen's dynastic dominance of all things round and ground? Rules and contact info for interested participants below:
Rules-
1) All participants must email Jake (jakemcd33@gmail.com) before February 1st with their intent to enter the contest.
2) Each contestant must arrive with their meatballs already prepared in a crockpot or other preapproved heating device by 4:30 Saturday, February 7th.
3) A full crockpot of meatballs must be provided (between 30-50 would be nice).
4) Meatballs must be homemade.
5) A notecard must be displayed either on the heating device or visibly in front of, displaying recipe, known allergens, and recipe name. On the other side of the card please list your name and number so we can get in contact with you if your meatballs
Judges Award
1) Three local celebrity judges will provide a score for each meatball on a scale from 1-10
2) The score of each meatball is entirely up to the judge and their scoring is final. All three judges scores will be added together for a final score.
3) The preschool setup committee reserves the right to refuse entry to any dish deemed to be a health or safety concern.
People's Choice Award
1) Each ticket of admission to the spaghetti dinner will also grant you a poker chip which you may place in a clear mason jar in front of your favorite meatball recipe. The jar with the most chips at the end of the night wins.
2) It's first come first serve, and we hope the meatballs run out!
